I recommend Mitchell Brooks every chance I get. I have a very litigious ex who has occupied (to the best of his ability and as his pocketbook allows) for nearly 15 years. It has been exhausting. Can't speak for their actual work as attorneys but came away very unimpressed after several interactions. No returned phone calls or emails for long stretches, then when following up, the paralegal will only arrange a paid consultation and gives rates for a fairly mediocre credentialed/experienced lawyer priced at $475/hr. This after getting much better responsiveness from more elite law firms in town, where attorneys actually get on the phone. Can't imagine ever calling these guys again.
I cannot recommend Marlon Bates highly enough. He is truly one of the few genuine and compassionate attorneys still out there.
