Great for when you need a few staples Sav A Lot doesn't always offer a whole lot in the way of brand name products; they specialize in cheaper, generic brands. But I've found that most of their brands are comparable to the national brands; and when they DO have sales on brand name products, they can't be beat for value. It will save you a fair amount on your weekly grocery bill, but most of their "sale" items can be found for the same price at national-chain stores like Albertsons.
This store was closed a few years ago and in it's place is, LULU'S INTERNATIONAL MARKET, a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean-type store which is very good.
