This tour is great! Not rushed or “canned” like some tours I went on. The tour guide, Victoria, is exceptionally knowledgable and passionate about the community and its preservation. Time flew by, as Victoria regaled us with the stories of the different wooden boats. The tour is accessible and would be great for all ages and all abilities. I can’t recommend it enough!
Beautiful boat properties but please stay away from private property. This is a great place to visit as a tourist, however be mindful that people live there and some of them are not very nice when you come close to their house I visited with my friend and I was blown away by how big this neighborhood is. They have 5 major docs and each has their own fleet of houses. Most house board are very artsy and have cool names, with a few being huge!
