They charge you for correcting their own mistakes. They were given all the proper paperwork and we made an error on a summary sheet but they neglected to audit their own work. When the IRS came back about the error, they wanted us to pay for the correction despite them not catching the error themselves. Why pay for a tax accountant if they can’t find the things I’m paying them to find and prevent?
