After my shingles diagnosis, my doctor strongly suggested acupuncture for nerve pain due to the severity of my case. My dermotologist insisted that acupuncture has helped many of her patients in the past but did comment that that is important to find a well-trained acupuncturist with experience with shingle's patients.
