David is a GREAT professional, I had 2 of my shotguns there for some minor repairs-David himself worked on my shotguns, when I called for an update, he knew exactly what shotguns I am talking about and he called me back with an update saying both of them are fixed and ready to go-David Santurri is now my go-to guy when it comes to any kind of firearms.
Defensive Dynamics referred me to Mr. Santurri calling him a true 1911 expert! They were spot on. I have a Colt Defender that was rebuilt by another gunsmith yet would not go into battery, could only be charged by locking the slide then releasing it, and would not cycle. Mr. Santurri diagnosed the issues in less than a minute, disassembled it, determined the replaced barrel had not been fitted, returned the original barrel as there was nothing wrong with it, then returned and adjusted the original spring assembly. There are some people who are just "naturals" when it comes to talent. David Santurri is such a person. I have an older DE .50 that needed a picatinny mount on top of an odd shaped dovetail rail. He simply, easily and precisely milled out a slot while I watched (I thought I would drop it off and return a few weeks later to pick it up).
