Avoid this place. The bartender offered everyone except me one more drink as he was closing, then disappeared to make a phone call. I figured he forgot to ask me and had planned to order something after his call. When he returned he started talking about how he practices enforcing boundaries by saying no when people ask for cocktails after closing (and thanks to his phone call it was well after). Santosha is the yummiest place to be! The instructors are talented, personable, professional a lot of fun to be around. The energy at Santosha lead by JB the owner is mesmerizing. The food is amazing (with nearly every dietary need) cooked by gourmet chef Sue. It is a wonderful place to be and I highly recommend spending your next retreat here. I have been to several yoga retreats but this is the only one I have repeated.
A very special place . Picture gentle yoga while sipping coffee and listening to the Grateful Dead, while the snow is gently falling around you …..feelings of being in a magical snow globe ! Relaxed no ego atmosphere with lovely meals and feeling of connected community .
The yoga retreat at Santosha was everything I hoped for and more. The people, workers and other guests were truly wonderful—welcoming, kind, and supportive—which made the entire experience feel like a little community from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, thoughtfully designed to help you unplug, reset, and be fully present.
