Words and photos simply don't do this place justice because the offerings are so much deeper that that. As a part-time resident of the valley, I had visited Santosha for community yoga classes and thoroughly enjoyed, but my somewhat stagnant relationship with yoga prevented too much engagement. I just finished a weekend yoga retreat at Santosha and I was utterly impressed! Everything from the yoga teachers, chefs, Dharma talks and accommodations were amazing. I felt at home. The staff is incredibly friendly, the trails, sauna and hot tub were the icing on the cake. The space is beautiful and I will be back sooner than later!
The energy of Santosha cannot be beat. I have been to multiple yoga retreats and this one is definitley my favorite. The instructors were knowelgeable and very experienced. Classes were taught with multiple demonstrated options for each pose to allow individual choices for students at every level. I am already making plans to return.
