My husband left his DL in the store as they required it before pumping gas. We realized we had left the license and had not paid. We were eating next door at the McDonald’s. Truly a slip of the mind. When we discovered our mistake later on our journey west we called the manager, Shirley. We immediately Fedexed an envelope to the store with the amount we owed for the fuel charge, along with an additional $20. for the inconvenience and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to drop and post his DL back to us.
