The most incompetent staff at this branch. Tried to deposit a check for my minor child and was told I couldn’t unless her name was on my account and to try “going to Walmart.” Made absolutely no sense to me, especially since it was a Santander check. I drove to the EG branch and they were flabbergasted that I was told I couldn’t deposit the check and told me that I was flat out lied to by the Wakefield staff. Just awful experience. Said I couldn’t take any money from my account because vault was closed. Asked when it would be open and just got a shrug saying have no idea. This was on a Monday morning at 10am. Also incredibly nosey staff asking what money I’m taking out is for and other unnecessary personal questions. I’ll consider driving an extra 30min to the next closest branch just to avoid dealing with this place.

I have always enjoyed wonderful service at this, and all, Santander branches.
Slow, incompetent, and they ask for all kinds of information JUST TO MAKE A DEPOSIT. Only bank to ask all kinds of data just to make a deposit.
