This review is for Santander the bank, it's policies and restrictions - NOT the employees that work at branches. Compared to other banks, Santander drastically limits your ability to transfer YOUR OWN MONEY to accounts within the bank, or to accounts outside of the bank. They are restrictive to a point of it being ridiculous. When using your online account, they tell you that your transfer amount "exceeds the limit" (a very low limit), but won't tell you what that limit is. I've talked to an extremely dumb rep over there today who could even answer simple questions about opening up a savings and checking account. He was extremely rude and then hung up on me. I tried to call back again twice and he picked up the phone and hung up on me again both times. Is that a way to treat a potential customer that is trying to do business with your company? I will be escalating this up to regional management in Boston on State Street.
