I recently surprised my friends with a trip to Santa Theresa Tile Works to make some mosaics. What an amazing experience, from start to finish! Upon arrival, we were kindly greeted and given a small tour of what magic happens there. Afterwards, we were shown a variety of settings to choose from (wood and metal frames, hooks, tables, etc.), the wide assortment of painted tiles to work with, as well as a couple of options for workspaces. What an amazing and fun experience. My grandma and I came here to make our own mosaics and it was a blast. The hardest part is narrowing down which pieces you want to use. They are all so beautifully made. Friendly staff and volunteers. If I lived locally I’d be dying to come here as much as possible. Highly recommend. Well worth the price and time.
HIGHLY recommend to anyone visiting Tucson or just looking for a fun activity. We stumbled upon this place looking for things to do and so glad we did!!! We had a great time designing our own framed mosaic. Loved this! It was fun and easy to make this beautiful tile hanger. The hardest part was deciding what to use - they have an amazing selection of ceramic tiles in a lot of different colors. Plus, a lot of different sized frames, tables and even a bench. They're a non-profit organization, really professional and super fun! I'd go again in a minute!
