This store is absolutely beautiful and my favorite place to go for Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, & Gourmet Pantry Foods. They offer you free samples of all their products so you know you can be sure of the quality and flavor. Bernadette, Elizabeth, and Wyatt are my favorite faces to see here when I am shopping for gifts. They are incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, a true treasure in Santa Fe.
I live between France and the US and often travel from my house in San Fran to other cities. Whilst in Santa Fe, I went into the Santa Fe Olive oil company with a local Native American friend. We were shocked at how badly we were treated. The woman (I believe an owner by how she talked to another staff member) was initially somewhat friendly though in a perfunctory manner, but then another woman came in, knowing to the owner. Visiting this shop in quaint downtown Sante Fe was an amazing experience. Elizabeth was so knowledgeable and eager to share her wealth of knowledge on the products. Elizabeth gave her personal favorites and explained why the work. She did not disappoint. I brought some travel sizes and will order online soon for my family and friends. Be sure to put this shop on your list of things to do!!!
You know...they get you into the shop with free samples!! What they don't tell you is that you will be tasting all the amazing oils and vinegars that now you love them all and have to take them all home!! I visited this shop two years ago during a visit to Santa Fe. I have been ordering from them since. Every product is outstanding!! Service is great. A real jewel of a resource for the best Olive oils.
