I purchased a high-end shortwave radio from Sangean, expecting quality and reliability. Unfortunately, the unit was defective right out of the box. I reached out to Sangean customer support, but instead of offering meaningful assistance or even requesting to inspect the radio, they dismissed my concerns, claiming it was operating normally — without ever seeing or testing the device themselves. I bought a Sangean clock radio many many years ago - while somewhat tricky to enter the settings, it has performed fantastic...until the display started to fade. In talking to Customer Service, Jimmy, helped me through the whole process of returning the radio for repair. He said that the display worked when he received it for repair but we agreed to replace the parts. He was even on top of things when he asked if the buttons on top were fading also - yes they were. I’m very pleased with my DDR-63 WiFi radio. Best internet radio player I’ve ever owned. Keep up the good work
