The combo of today's technology along w their (certainly over the decades I have lived here) expanded service makes SMTD truly more befitting of a State Cap That said it remains important for busses NOT to be ahead of schedule... causing riders to be an hour late for work or appointments!!!
Drivers need to keep the door closed while they're sitting so the AC works properly in the bus. Especially if they're going to sit for 15 minutes. 10 mins later and the bus is still hot inside. In order for the AC to work the door has to be closed. Hell, when I first got on this bus the AC was working fine it was nice and cool in here. You shouldn't need an HVAC certificate to know how to keep the door closed when you got the AC on.
Only one complaint no busses go down dirksen parkway between clear lake and north grand. Walked down dirksen this morning hoping to see a bus even stopped and had the correct change. That was a long cold walk this morning why not send a bus down dirksen?
