We are a local business and were a business account customer of Sandy Spring Bank for 8 years before the merger. After the merger, Atlantic Union Bank decided on their own to close our account. Presumably they thought we were conducting fraudulent activity but they steadfastly refused to tell us why they had chosen to close the account.
