I tried to make a drive thru deposit at the Ashton, MD branch. I was 4th in line 20 minutes before closing. The car directly in Front of me left the line, making me car 3. The first car in line finished 10 minutes before closing. The second car in line waited 10 minutes for the teller drawer to open at exactly 5 pm, when the closed sign lit up I am not sure what was happening in the bank, but processing one transaction every 10 minutes is a disgrace. I will have to try again tomorrow.

Sandy Spring Bank is a joke. I opened a new account and ordered checks that I hadn't received a month later. SS customer service said "well, it's kinda near the holidays so they'll probably show up sometime". I suggested they actually contact their provider for checks and get tracking info. Their next response was "well, they probably are lost so you'd better close your account and reopen a new one with a different number". WHAT??!!
