I can't say enough good about Sandhill. Their mission is wonderful, and Glen and Linda are very helpful. I've gotten fantastic birds and seeds from them and will continue to support them in the future.
First, I will start by saying if I could give them 1 star I would. I ordered 36 chicks from Sandhill Preservation months ago. Their communication is terrible and you will only hear from them weeks after you send in your order and only by snail mail. When I received my order 6 chicks died within 24 hours. Plus my order for 25 mixed chicks was totally mixed up with the breeds I specifically order, even though the box had partitions, so I have no idea what breed is what. Great experience, in my area they are using a new shipping company. Got my birds the day after they were sent. Birds were in great shape. A fun mix as I ordered some assorted birds. Good communication, but it is a 2 person team, they are both friendly. If you read the directions, they definitely follow what is stated on the website. I was concerned about the live check in the mail, but there was no issue.
