I visited San Marcus Senior Center for the first time this Friday to play bridge. The guy in charge asked if I had a partner. I said "NO. If I had a partner I wouldn't have bothered coming to the Senior Center." I asked him " Who has made the rule of asking seniors to bring a partner with them. He said he did. He said he made that rule 20 years ago and the rule still stands today and he is still in charge. I was disappointed and left the Center, thinking to myself," In 20 years, many things change. The San Marcos Senior center is a fabulous place for seniors together to gather they have a tremendous number of activities and resources so that the elderly are honored with the joy of comradery and community. Everyone is welcome
We were able to get free legal advice for dissolving a business from Pamela Brown-McGill and it was SO helpful. You have to make an appointment as she's only there once a month, but it's so worth it. Thank you Sr. Ctr. and Pamela for providing this opportunity from the Sr. Ctr.!
A great place to get lit at nice and chill generally safe
If you are a senior who is interested in connecting with others, I suggest you check out the wonderful activities and classes offered at the Senior Activity Center in San Marcos. I have participated in the fitness classes where I've met great instructors and very nice people. There's always something going on. Don't sit at home alone. Come on over and check it out. It's fun.
