This place no longer exists, getting harder to source specialty woods and tools at a brick and mortar
San Lorenzo in Scotts Valley makes it easy to buy lumber. I pull my truck up to the stack of lumber I need and a young, knowledgeable, energetic, helper is there faster then I can get out my tape measure. He is there to help me pick out boards and load them on my truck. It feels like the 1970s level of service. The hardware store also has that feel. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the store is well stocked for its size.
They recently covered me for some fiberglass doors that were warping. Turns out to be an installation issue, yet they went the extra mile to replace them. Customer for life
Really, really good service. Well stocked and for specialty items that may not be on their shelves, customer service will place special orders.
