Called to see about a refinance since mortgage rates are dropping. David Lindsey gave me a crazy guesstimate and was very corteous during the initial application process which I enjoyed, but then once I got my application done it turns out the savings would be a 10th of what was originally quoted to me, and it would cost me thousands of dollars which was not what I was expecting because of my initial call. Applied went through the process sent all documents never got an answer communication sucks had the guy Dave tends to get annoyed when you call for a check up bad experience.
This has been my worst experience with a mortgage broker. First off, when I called, he could have collected the needed info from me to get me a quote but he directed me to his website to go complete an application. All I wanted was a quote so I partially completed it by only providing similar info that I did to other lenders but I was made to provide much more info than other lenders requested off me like employment history, address history, SSN, etc. It was as though I was actually applying for a loan.
