Such deceptive practices. Not only will I never give the optical center my business again, I’m discontinuing my membership -altogether- and will give Costco my business. Went in to make a simple contact lenses purchase, using insurance. The elderly lady (Halda or Halga) desperately tried to get me to pay more than my insurance’s allowance. I asked to purchase 1 box of contacts as my prescription is the SAME in both eyes. One box. That’s it. Simple. The cost of the box was $120; my allowance is $180. Don’t go there!
The eye exam is expert-level and considerably less expensive than other optometry practices in the area. There wasn’t any pressure selling of vitamins or other upsell gimmickry that has become the norm these days. My wife is happy. Thank you
waited 30 mins just for one of the employees to tell me they can't assist me in buying glasses... would've liked to know that BEFORE i waited half an hour.
Said they would call us in an hour for a vision exam so we waited an entire hour and never received a follow up.
