Top 5 hospitals I have ever been in. Staff is amazing, from E.R check-in, to the nurses and Dr. In the ER the very best,. Nurse Channing simply amaze above and beyond helpful. Trying find ways to help you and the care beyond belief, even Yvonne at check in the very best..

I had always heard horror stories about Samaritan Albany General Hospital and assumed that they were exaggerations. Surely it couldn't be true that emergency responders and police drove emergency cases an extra 15 minutes to the Corvallis hospital because of gross incompetence. There are countless accounts of malpractice, life-threatening infections contracted from this cesspool, and elderly patients having strokes while waiting for hours untreated. I had to go to the ED the other day because I had a piece of chicken stuck in my esophagus just below my trachea. I could breathe but I couldn’t swallow anything. So my husband took me in to be seen. We got in really fast and were seen fast by the ED doctor. He suggested we try drinking some warm soda to see if that would help but unfortunately it didn’t help.
