Great place they have a lot of boating gear and fishing stuff for sale
George and Barbara are excellent. Their knowledge comes from years of experience as sailors. We have used them for everything from standing rigging, electrical issues, and sail cleaning and repairs. We trust them with everything on our boat.
Small out of the way chandlery at the Haverstraw Marina. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff with good stock for such a small store. Prices are surprisingly competitive, probably lower than West Marine overall but not as low as the lowest online suppliers. Big friendly dogs are a plus.
Barb and George know what they're doing and have a top-notch team to work on your boat. They offer great advice, being honest about what is and what isn't needed. For example, I asked about replacing a seacock, but they inspected and said it was in fine shape. Meanwhile, they spotted a cracked fitting for the standing rigging that could have led to trouble out on the water. Their services are in demand, so get in line early before the peak season.
