While vacationing on 7/2 my husband and I took our 2 daughters to this store to look for jellycats mid afternoon. Immediately upon entering the store I noticed the woman working right at the front of the store. She was slowly walking around the front, saw us come in, but zero words were spoken to us. Lots of overpriced items. Similar to other reviews, had minimal interactions with employees and seemed to be off put by having people in their stores. There was a family in there attempting to purchase JellyCat stuffed animals and she was watching them like a hawk and constantly rolling her eyes. Cute store with very nice items, but not sure it’s worth the hassle.

Marvelous shop with thoughtful goods, clearly personally selected. The music being played was entrancing & added to the experience. But most exceptional are the women who work there. I cannot say enough. Yes, everything is quite expensive. You are on vacation & this store is a treat. It would be at home in much fancier resort towns and upscale areas. This is not a bad thing. We go on vacation to places that offer us something new. Sometimes we love it sometimes not so. But travel must be conducted with an open mind.

Came here this past Friday afternoon only because my daughter knew that they had Jellycat stuffed animals. My wife and her aunt also went with us. Nice stuff and cool book selections, BUT...... The lady who was running the store (owner?) was averse to move out of the door way when we entered and had the personality of a wet mop. She acted as if she really didn't want to interact with any customers. Went back later to tell her it might be better to learn about Southern hospitality.
