I do not recommend this shelter. Staff gave me conflicting information about when I could return and then denied me reentry after I missed the 9:30 deadline. I was also written up for not having car insurance even though my insurance was active and I have proof. When I asked Amanda how to correct the misunderstanding, she said she did not know and that I would have to speak with someone the next day. They didn't really want to help anymore
The people here were so kind and inviting! They helped me get food for my family for at least the next three weeks! The ladies were so friendly and upbeat it was infectious. Even though I've got a lot going on right now, I feel better after visiting these people because they treat you like a person. Just a wonderful place to get help from.
