My family moved to Kansas City, Mo. In 1976, we was homeless. The Salvation Army opened their doors to my parents and their six kids. I'll never forget the experience which in my eyes was a good one. I can vividly remember playing with the other kids and not having a worry or a care. Thank you for sheltering my family because we moved on and had a happy life in Kansas City, Missouri after we left the shelter.
