I visited Salty Mermaid on 9/1 for a wax and could not have been more pleased. Laurie was warm and welcoming. She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable the wax (which barley hurt) was over, before I knew it!

Stayed in the Poppy area for the first time on our annual summer Cape trip this year and found this place in the local market near our rental. The reviews convinced me to book a facial as a treat to kick off vacation. Laurie was great - wonderful to talk to but also knew when I wanted to be quiet and enjoy the experience - the space is clean and bright but cozy, and my skin is glowing. What a gem - I can see why people travel from all over to see her! I'll definitely book again next summer!

I was looking for a resort-style spa experience near Mashpee and this was perfect. The room was light, clean, and airy and my facial was deeply relaxing. Not to mention effective; my skin is glowing. It was the perfect treat during our week on the Cape, highly recommend!!

I went to Laurie for a wax appointment after reading such great reviews. She was everything that I read and more. Not only is she so nice, making the entire experience comfortable for me, but it was virtually painless! I left feeling great about the appointment and my time with Laurie. I am definitely going to go back to her and I recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a wax or other spa treatments.
