We had a wonderful experience attending the Paper Mache class at Saltspray Design. The atmosphere was welcoming, creative, and relaxed, and our instructor (Anthea) was truly fantastic—patient, encouraging, and full of knowledge. She made the process extremely fun and approachable for both my wife and I, and we left feeling inspired and proud of what we created. Anthea is as spunky and inspired as her artworks! Our merry group of 4 attended a 2-day workshop in her sparkling gallery where her own creations cheered us on. Anthea led us with practiced aplomb through the various stages of assemblage and decoration. Our freshly created, wonky creatures were sturdy yet ready for flight.. I'm so happy to have discovered Anthea and her extraordinary artwork. While I was bowled over by the wide range of mediums in which she works, and could barely take it all in, I did fall for this beauty in blues. I attempted to leave without him but it just didn't work! My new lobster looks stunning in any light and in every room. Thank you Anthea!
The moment I saw “The Leaping Hare,” I knew I needed to purchase him. Anthea’s art is incredibly diverse, but I very much love the expressiveness of her papier maché. She went above and beyond the call to ensure this wonderful piece got to me safely. The piece is even better in person and I highly recommend Anthea.
