Such a great experience at Salter Cycles today that I felt compelled to leave a review. It walked into the shop pretty late in the day, Rob was closing the shop when I arrived - desperately needed a new chain and cassette fitted for a road race tomorrow. The guy Rob is off his head, extremely rude and aggressive. He over tightened my sons bike axle when he took it into the shop after it came loose last September when the bike was only 4 months old. We purchased a brand new Giant bike from them and spent $1000. My son had been at the skate park when the wheel had come loose so he walked it across to the shop with his friend and Rob tightened it and said that shouldn't come loose again. So I just purchased a bike for my son On Facebook marketplace and on the way back home we stopped at Slater cycles to purchase a helmet a bike rack and a bike lock and while I was there I was chatting to Rob to see if he could go over my son‘s new bike because there was a bit of a brake problem. Rob was absolutely fantastic told me to bring the bike inside. He then proceeded to go over the bike tighten a few things up on the brake pumped up the tyres and then booked in the bike.
