RecommendedVery nice new airport love the puppy station
Worst designed airport visited. I know it’s being remodeled but poor layout.
Walk from check-in to gates is way too long, particularly for the older passengers we were accompanying. Families with small children and people with disabilities may feel the same. Definitely give yourself enough time to walk. TSA is high tech but the mini carousel can bottleneck, and of course depends on enough staff to scan items. F terminal still needs more seating; roundabout format makes that less feasible.
I was exited about the new airport, however very disappointing. There is nothing convenient about this new terminal. It has one pretty area, but I wouldn’t call it world class. There is still not enough seating at the gates. My commute time through the new airport has easily TRIPLED. I hope the outside parking shuttle drop off/pick up gets corrected to a closer location. Very efficient and friendly.
I had to pick up my teenage son from his flight last night. My brief encounter with a rude and abrasive airport employee (terminal 1 entrance from the parking garage) left me with a negative impression. As a health care employee, I understand in the time of COVID that stricter measures have to be enforced. However, there are ways to be diplomatic and level-headed in your approach. New Airport is almost ready to open. Sept. 15 it will open its doors. The additional space and new technology has been needed for some time. All travelers will benefit!!
