Perfect place for a hunt! Spent 3 nights hunting with my son for Christmas… He got his first buck! Accommodations were nice and the food was excellent. If you are lucky enough to have Ryan smoke ya up some award winning Texas BBQ .. ya better jump on it! He also can grill up a mean steak!

We went on a Saturday, Sunday, Monday hog hunt on 9/9 thru 9/11/2023. Pros: The bunk house was fine. The blinds and feeders were set up good. The layout of the land was good and the freedom to hunt excellent. Cons: Three of us went on 4 hunts and never saw 1 pig and here is why. 1. The corn feeders activated at 1630, and 0930. Both several hours before sunset and after sunrise. There are no hogs out at those times. But there was dozens of deer out at those times to devour the corn before the hogs become active. This place is phenomenal. After striking out at several other ranches, we hit the jackpot with the Salt Fork Ranch. We saw hogs every night and had a blast. The facilities are excellent and the owners are great guys. If you’re looking for a great hunting experience I recommend Salt Fork ranch, we can’t wait to come back again!
