POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I have never written a negative review for any business, however this employee at Sally Beauty Supply deserves it. Her name I believe is CARRIE. She was the rudest person I have ever met. I went there to buy a comb and found the one that I really like. before paying for it I used it to comb my hair thinking it was okay as I was going to pay for it anyway. CARRIE was in the back of the store , started to yell at me at the front of the store that I could not try it . She was very loud and rude. I wouldn't mind if she came closer and talk to me politely. When I said this is not how you treat customers, she said " You are the only person in the store , so no one else is going to hear it".She was disrespectful with negative attitude. Then, another staff jumped into the conversation just to worsen the situation by saying " if you are not going to buy it, are you going to trying it". POOR POOR communication skills. I called customer service at the main office , they promised to address my concerns.

Basically the people who work there all have poor communication skills and aren't very friendly in general. I purchased something there once, and called a day later to ask if they accept returns with a receipt. The person working there said no, they would only exchange it. I said, "so you don't issue refunds with a receipt?" (just to clarify/confirm the question), and she said no. I checked the website and it said they do issue refunds with receipts, so I called another location (in saugus) to ask them the same question. The woman at this location was very friendly and helpful and understood what I was asking right away. She offered more information than I requested and was very polite. I called back the woman at the location in Lynn and I told her she was mistaken about the info she just gave me. She laughed it off and was like, "oh, you DO have a receipt?" I asked the question twice to make sure she understood what i was asking her, so I don't see how she misunderstood the question. (maybe the fact that english is probably not her first language). then she mumbled something very fast and hung up. i'll be taking my business to the location in saugus from now on.
