Came in to inquire about issues with my bike, the guy there literally said “you’re better off replacing the bike” and laughed “he was serious btw” he gave no actual solution and every question he answered so vaguely and he over exaggerated the severity of the issue. Quick and friendly service, nothing a problem!
Moments of truth. Why buy from Salamander Cycles? Now Richard and Mark are good guys, but my motive was purely economic. Now my bike was 'cheaper' on the net, however, going that way would have cost me more. Recently my bike ran out of warranty and the $800 battery died. Now as a one off customer of some giant chinese bike company I would have gotten no where. But because they are repeat buyers they negotiated and got me a replacement $800 battery. Customer service was on point, really helpful and went out of the way to make sure my son had not only purchased a product he really wanted but made sure it was right for the bike and went above and beyond to fit it to the bike when I was unable to. Great people, highly recommend when bikes become a struggle or you need help finding what you need. Will definitely be back. Thanks very much for all the help.
