I was told that I was a complicated medical case and that Dr. Knapp doesn't feel comfortable with doing Gastric sleeve surgery on me because of my EoE. Its been 6 months and im still trying to lose weight on my own and can't do it. Two other doctors referred me to Dr. Knapp and its so disheartening that Im not complicated enough for glp1 with insurance but to complicated for surgery. Called 4 times and cant talk to anyone. Sat in hild and got hung up on.
Very professional office staff and kind. The place is sanitary and ultra clean. I did end up with a infection after bariatric surgery and ended up back in the hospital fighting for my life. Would I do it again? No I would not, make sure you do your homework before getting surgery. 3 stars for the staff, but the surgery is not worth the risk in my opinion. I did change my life but the cost was higher than expected and I will live with this mistake the rest of my life.
