Absolutely horrible service. Told to be at home today between Friday 12-2. Received call from operator the day before. She said someone will call 30 minutes prior. I then call into the office and the guys says “the lady went home I can’t help you” “we didn’t tell you 12-2” “maybe 2-6”. I’m positive in what I was told and don’t like being called a liar. I run a bussiness and Cannot sit somewhere for 8 hrs waiting on a package. This is poor customer service. Simple honesty could’ve avoided this horrible experience.
My experience with Saia Ltl Freight was not a positive one. I paid extra for a lift gate, residential delivery and paid extra for the delivery by appointment. Their version of setting an appointment for delivery was calling once the truck was loaded and in my immediate area. I was at work and didn't get the voicemail until two hours later. I called the driver back and the appointment for delivery was set for the next morning because he said he had already left my part of town and did not want to return. My frustration and beef is NOT with the Toledo sight but the sight in Athens, GA. They have THE WORSE service EVER!!!!!!!! If possible please do NOT use them, if possible use some one else. When something arrives in Seattle, WA on July 28th but it is NOT delivered until Aug 5th. Used this company too many times. First time they sent our freight to Washington state which was bad because it was suppose to go to Missouri. This company is close to where we live so we used them again but I don't know why. This time it went to California and gain it was suppose to go to Missouri It was more than 1 week late being delivered. We again gave this company another chance. 124262 is the number on the truck I witnessed cut off a driver instead of hitting his brakes, since he was speeding 65 in a 55 for trucks speed limit, to pass another truck doing the legal limit, this must be how they train their drivers too since it's not the first driver of theirs I've witnessed do this, as one of them run me off the road on day as well!
The terminal manager is racist,he turns away all qualified black applicants.He hired my white friend as a driver who had no experience with a criminal record and turned me away. I have a clean background and plenty of experience. Don't ship with saia freight!!!
