My experience with Saia Ltl Freight was not a positive one. I paid extra for a lift gate, residential delivery and paid extra for the delivery by appointment. Their version of setting an appointment for delivery was calling once the truck was loaded and in my immediate area. I was at work and didn't get the voicemail until two hours later. I called the driver back and the appointment for delivery was set for the next morning because he said he had already left my part of town and did not want to return.
