Terrible and inconsistent hours, bus driver told me last bus runs at 5 when in actuality it ran at four… a great inconvenience for people who don’t have access to cars. A true public transportation service would be better than Stars
On September 16th, two incidents onboard buses involving my 3-year-old granddaughter: Not 5 minutes after boarding inbound Rte 1, the driver suddenly slammed on the brakes, sending my granddaughter flying from her seat, causing a bump on her forehead and sudden fear of buses! She cried out all the way to the transfer plaza as I held her. No apology from the driver, or offer from staff to get a direct ride home, nothing!! At the STARS transfer plaza on this Saturday, one of two restrooms accessible, I walked in and found it worse than deplorable!! STARS staff obviously has this on the bottom of their priority list!!
Twice this week, I signaled to deboard Rte 3 outbound at Court & Michigan Ave. But the driver continued past the bus stop I indicated, to Van Buren & Michigan Ave, which made for a longer walk home.
