I wanted to share my experience here. I was disappointed with the communication among PSW’s specially with the older ones. There was a lack of support and teamwork and observed that new staff members were not welcomed and senior staff didn’t make an effort to integrate new team members which made it challenging for them to adjust and feel supported in their role. My experience with Sagecare has been deeply disappointing. The work environment is toxic, and it's clear that profit is prioritized over both staff and resident well-being. PSWs are overworked, underpaid, and expected to follow unreasonable procedures that do not support quality care or safety. Communication from management is poor, and there's a lack of support for staff mental and physical health. I would not recommend placing a loved one in their care, nor would I advise anyone to accept a position here out of desperation... read more
