I attempted to resolve this issue directly with Matt, but unfortunately, the decision prioritized financial convenience over fairness. I feel a responsibility to warn fellow carriers about Saffer’s practices. They engaged in price gouging on deductions and placed full liability on us, the carrier, for a shipment error that should have been shared with the shipper.
