Best supermarket in Boulder I go to this supermarket regularly because it has the best selection of foods, good weekly sales, it's clean and comfortable, and it's never out of what I want--unlike the Safeway on Arapahoe Ave. Get the Safeway card for extra savings. Fair to middling A busy location, while this store meets most of my grocery needs, it also has a few detractions. The aisles are narrower than most. and there's less space beyond the end caps, making shopping cart movement more of a tight fit. Safeway I shop at the Safeway on College once a week and it definitely has its pros and cons. The best thing about this grocery store is that it is so conveniently located. I feel like it's some sort of hub for grocery shoppers in south side Berkeley. It's super easy to get to on the 51 bus even though I drive. It's also open 24 hours. And, one time during finals I just did not have time to go shopping so I ordered my groceries online! Great plants for gifts I frequently buy small plants as gifts for friends and find the ones from Safeway to be fresh and in great shape. Just what I am looking for and in a price range I can afford.
Never Any Problems! Safeway has always been clean & the service has always been friendly. It's never really busy and it's always easy to find what you are looking for. Help is always easy to find and the prices are fair and competitive! I am very pleased with this Safeway!
This is the new Safeway if I remember correctly. This Safeway is very nice inside, I must say the best thing about this particular Safeway is the Starbucks inside. There is also a Safeway gas station there offering discounts for card members. This Safeway looks very clean, very modern and has a lot of grocery merchandise to offer. Also it offers self checkout I think. PROS: Starbucks, Pharmacy, Gas Station CONS: Prices could do better.

great remodel I like the Safeway in Covington. The remodel is great and the service wonderful. Their floral department is always full of new, fresh flowers. I enjoy the new look of the store!
