Damascus...but not Syria. Great, well stocked, clean Maryland store. I don't know anything about the one in Syria. I do know that a clerk named Chelsea was very nice and helpful...here in Maryland.

I visited the Safeway in Damascus, Maryland, to return a package of cheese that had been sold to me even though it had expired eightdays earlier. I did not have my paper receipt, so I asked the customer service associate, Rana, if she could look up my purchase. She told me she could not and implied that I may have bought the cheese a month ago, which I found disrespectful and unnecessary.
