I had an appointment at Safelite at 10 today to replace my windshield (not realizing it was no longer Louis Auto Glass until after I scheduled), and was told it would take a couple hours. I explained that I was going to run a quick errand and then wait while they finished up. Around 11 I came back to the office and sat in the waiting area. We needed a new driver’s window on our vehicle. They were able to get us in quickly, they completed the project within a couple of hours or less, and they did a great job cleaning up the interior free of charge. Disappointed to learn and report that after nearly one-hundred years (since 1929), Louis Auto Glass is no longer in business. By October 2025 LAG's three locations have been transferred to Safelite Auto Glass Shop. I called the Louis phone number, and was informed that Safelite will continue auto services, however they do not plan to offer the previous Louis service for glass installation for RVs and home windows.
Great store. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.
