Great helicopter and good reputation but I have a question. I have a Frend in Texas that had a tail rotor drive gear inside the main rotor gear box (not accessible to builders) fail at 20 hours due to inadequate hardness how has this been addressed and have any other failures been noted? Result was total loss of Aircraft and major injuries to pilot.

I visited the Safari west coast build-assist facility in Eugene Oregon and was impressed. The folks there are the same people who assist VANS RV planes. They are a first class operation.
