We had such a fabulous time at this workshop! Have been to many different creative workshops and this was my favourite. Karen was a great teacher, we learnt so many techniques and when home with lots of beautiful items that we had dyed with various patterns! Such fun!
I recently did a shibori indigo dyeing workshop together with my mum at Shibori in Stanmore. It was a birthday present and it was one of the most memorable experiences I've had in a long while. Karen's instruction was full of thoughtful detail, and she was so generous with her time and advice throughout the class. Had an incredible experience speaking with Karen about some dyeing theories I wanted to explore. She was so warm, encouraging, and generous with her deep industry knowledge and colour matching techniques. She really helped point me in the right direction, and I can't wait to book an in-person session soon!
This workshop was such a beautiful experience, shared by two passionate and very kind women: Karen and Pipa. It went beyond my expectations. We created lots of samples, and I even brought my own fabrics to experiment with and create stunning patterns. I loved every minute of it.
Such a great and inspiring workshop and studio, with lovely teachers who really spend the time supporting you on the Shibori process. Highly recommend!
