One of the worst in the business for the warranty on their tools and taking action to make the customer whole.
Ryobi RE-600 router that the collet jammed on. When the collet jammed to get the router bit out it damaged the carbide cutters on the bit. Ryobi simply told me that it was off warranty. I would understand that if the motor or another piece of technology broke on an older router, but not the collet. So in short a $5 collet almost cost me $350 between router and bits. Luckily Freud stepped up and is replacing the bits for free when it wasn't even their problem. Lesson learned, buy from a respected company that will stand behin... read more
I think the 2.0 rating speaks for itself! The photo of the pole saw was 2 hours after purchasing. Okay, fairly upset. Call customer support... must have called to close to closing time because I was hung up on and acted like they couldnt hear me. Ryobi is trash and I will never trust their products ever again. What happened was entirely unsafe and I cant even finish the job unless I fix their tool myself. Weird... dewalt hasnt failed me. Milwaukee hasnt failed me. Any other tool that isnt ryobi hasnt failed me.
Service manager Rennay is absolutely horrible. Hung up on me when I asked where th limited warranty is stated and she couldn’t find it. Didn’t want to warranty a 2 month old battery.
