I've been buying my running gear here since 1982 (Actually I went here as early as 1971, before Gary bought the business). Running shoe design changes often, and Gary and Steve keep up with those changes. Highly recommend this place for running shoes. Local, father and son shop. No BS, brand agnostic, figures out shoes that fits in minutes, lets you try it out on the block ... will be my running shoe shop once this new pair wears out.
NOT SHOP HERE! I don’t know how this store had so many stars. I’m dealing with plantars fasciitis along with falling arches. As part of the treatment my physical therapist told me to get insoles for my shoes. She said to go to a shop that specializes in running shoes, and that the salesperson should spend some time looking at my feet, before having me try stuff. I have been shopping with Gary for many years and each time, is like I have never been there before. He takes the time to make sure my shoes fit and, in fact, are exactly for my feet! The buying experience is awesome!
Gary was fantastic -- he took one look at me, had me sit down, quieted me down (I was brimming with context and descriptions of what I wanted), and proceeded to have me try on the most comfortable pair of running shoes I've ever tried. Then he had me run down the block, come back, and try three or four more pairs. Warning: DO NOT GO HERE! Wow! I wish I had read these comments before I drove all the way down there - I wouldn't have bothered to waste me time. THE OLDER GUY WAS THE RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCE IN A RETAIL STORE - EVER!!!
