In 2023, my mom, who has early onset dementia, came to this firm with all her financial troubles. They helped her secure a second and third mortgage, placed a NOSI on her property, and paid her business loans using her house (personal mortgage). **Be aware*** There are many great lawyers out there who want your business and won't charge $450 an hour just to do an initial consult! This kind of business practice says a lot about what to expect. No comment about their acumen, only a comment to always shop around : )
Please do not use this business. My mom, Gina, decided to use Rutman and Rutman to help facilitate her move. Now, being an older woman, they took advantage of her situation. On the day of her move, the builder withheld her key and strong armed her. They told her unless she backdated her house bills and paid for the entire month before she had moved in, she would not receive her key.
