My child has been going for 3 years now. She started in second grade. She has learned a lot, I would recommend. A lot depends on the teacher, so if your child doesn’t vibe with the instructor, ask to transfer to a different class. Thus far I have been pleased with the curriculum. The homework does take time, but the kids learn a lot through practice. I can't say enough about RSM as an organization, are in particular this location. Let me start off by saying that I have a PhD from MIT, so I have been exposed to a lot of excellent approaches to teaching math over the years. Sending my kids to RSM has been one of our family's best decisions. Did my kids complain about "having" to go to extra after school classes? Of course. Did they complain about extra homework? I can't say enough about RSM and I don't even know where to start to express my gratitude. I have three children that are all in a different place with their math ability and RSM met them where they were and supported all of them to foster their skills and teach them math confidence. I am certain that my now college students would not have achieved their college dreams without RSM as young children. My kids attend RSM on Wells St and are having a wonderful experience. The teachers are amazing and they are excelling in school. Special shout out to Angela. She is passionate and works very hard to help her students succeed. My son has had the pleasure to be in her class this year. I will definitely continue to enroll them RSM.
