Dementia people are forced to sign over all their financials only. Millions of dollars taken from loved ones. And turned against family. And then kicked out as they cannot pay. Make sure you hve control of finances before moving your lived one in. This is why its cheaper then other local residences.
Had to remove my review for our safety , but stand by my star rating. Do research. We were finally able to move out.
Had to delete my review for safety of the resident. The resident was still living there and not safe. They won't let me see him or move him out (as i am his only legal POA). Another POA was signed by the residence (he has brain injury. He cannot sign anything). Do not trust them. Evil place. They call the police on family members and remove contact info from hospitals, to put them as the only contact. Over charge residents for unapproved charges and will not send you the bill. My father has dementia and doesn’t understand much. He was scared and disoriented. I had to move him because the medication was not properly managed, and they were charging too much to his direct payment account. I did not receive any mail, and the charges were not approved. They were billing extra fees. I do not recommend this place—stay away from it.
After several years living here ... Everything was good, i was happy. Even made a very good friends , protecting me . No reason to change my happiness ... but i was moved (to the psychward) away from close friends that were helping me. I am alone, scared and confused. Sent to another residence. Over charged and destroying family and friends with lies and threats. Do not trust them. All they want is you to sign over your finances to THEM especially if you have dementia, i refused.
