A really great resource for the community. I recently was without a car for a number of weeks.The community bus was an absolute life saver for me. Shopping at Maryborough on Wednesdays and Castlemaine on Thursdays. I was picked up and dropped off at home all for only $5.00 . The drivers, Ron, Steve and Gary were fantastic. I can't thank them enough.

I loved this place the first day. I went back and did 2 loads of washing at $5 a load, then put $4 in each dryer for 29 minutes, then anpther $5 in each dryer. I spoke with the elderly lady and she arranged an extra $5 per dryer. So $28 of my own money with an extra $10, my clothes were still damp. I would suggest drive to Maryborough. $2 for 14 minutes and the clothes are dry, OH! and the blanket dry for $2. $28 and over 2.5 hours at Newstead. Not an enjoyable experinence for someone travelling through. Dont risk it.
