If you’re anywhere near Bangor, you have to stop at Rural Sophisticate. It is truly the cutest boutique and local market! We ended up leaving with several amazing finds—fresh breads, delicious dips, olive oil, ice cream, and more. They also have a wonderful little café. We had such a delicious lunch there that we came back again later in the afternoon for coffee and cake! What made the visit so special were the people. Rural Sophisticate and Highland Market are great additions to the Bangor community! They have the most unique items for gifting or to use yourself! I highly recommend the syrups and the baked goods! The take and bake items are so yummy and convenient! Kelly and Wendy have outdone themselves with these two businesses.
